Hi! I'm Daisy and I'm a 16 year old singer/songwriter, musician, dancer and actress. I'm currently studying vocal performance and songwriting at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford.
I love to perform, whether that's at churches, theatres, festivals, competitions or just open mics and busking.
I'm currently performing acoustically with my guitar, singing both covers and originals in the pop/soul/R&B genre.
I enjoy pushing the boundaries and experimenting with mixing genres. I love how Pete tong used the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to recreate Ibiza Classics at the BBC proms and I'm constantly seeing how I can do something similar with my Violin (which is what first got me into music age 5) as well as my other instruments - Viola, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums.
There are two musicians that have made me realise that music is much more than lyrics and instruments but a way to help people cope with the trappings of every day life however big or small people's issues are everyone can find solice in music and unfortunatly both these people passed away before their 30th Birthdays - the first is my true inspiration, my dad who was a drummer. The second was more well known and her troubles which the public were partied to - the late great Amy Winehouse.
